The purpose of the Bethel Middle School Counseling Program is to promote and enhance the learning process. The counselor works closely with administrators, teachers, parents, and the community to support the Bethel Public Schools mission and to accomplish goals, with focus on three strands of guidance: academic success, college/career information, and personal/social growth. In addition, the counselor coordinates standardized testing, works with individual students and peer support groups, and provides information about community resources. Parents are always welcome to consult with their school counselor about the counseling program and their child’s individual needs.
Dear Bethel Families,
During the school closures for COVID-19, I will continue to be available for students and families. I can offer Community Resources and Mental Health Resources. I am also available to help you with any specific social or emotional concerns that your child may be having during this time.
I will be available via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. I will be checking my messages daily during our regular school hours and will get back to you within 24-48 hours depending on the volume of emails I receive. If you request a callback, I will be using a google assigned phone number rather than a local Oklahoma number.
Please check out the links in the menu bar on the left side of this page for more information about our virtual learning resources, student resources, parent resources, and mental and emotional wellness contacts. I hope you all are staying safe, and I miss all of our students so very much!
